Result Sheet Guidelines

1. PLAYER NAMES

All names of the 11 players should be included on the batting innings even if they did not bat, preferably with their full name ie. John Smith and not just J Smith. Please draw a line through the batting section when players are missing i.e. only 9 or 10 players in a team.

2. FIELDER NAMES

Please include fielders names in the how out column for catches, run outs and stumpings, again if with full names.

3. UMPIRES & SCORERS

Please name any umpires and scorers that are used for a match.

4. POINTS SCORED

It is not compulsary for teams to work out the points on the result sheet. The computer coding works these out in accordance with the league playing conditions as below. The facility is still there however should you wish to do so.

Points will be allocated as follows:

(a) The Winning Team: 10 points

(b) The Losing Team: 0 points

(c) A Tied Match: 5 points each

(d) No Result: 0 points and will not count towards points average

(e) Bonus Points:

Batting:

Bowling:

Note: Each part-over shall be regarded as a completed over for bonus points

(c) In the event of a batting side having less than 11 players and being all out, maximum bowling points will be awarded to the bowling side.

(d) In the event of a team conceding a League Match, 18 points will be awarded to their opponents, and zero points to the team conceding.

5. UPON COMPLETION

Please ensure all completed results sheets are e-mailed to Mike Varney as soon as possible after the match, but no later than 48 hours. Details are shown on the results form overleaf, and can be found on the website too.
